This Is How I Miss You

It’s meeting new people,
and recalling the first time we met

It’s sipping coffee,
and tasting your lips

It’s being stuck in traffic,
and feeling you beside me

It’s dancing in the night,
and wishing your hands were on my waist

It’s looking at old photographs,
and wanting to relive those moments

It’s going to places,
and reminiscing how happy we were

It’s listening to songs,
and hearing your voice

It’s leaving my house,
and remembering the last time I saw you

It’s watching sad endings,
and seeing us in them
