kaleidoscope

I want your laughing eyes,
your mouthful of faith,
your scrapbook childhood.
I want your slammed doors,
your drunken spite,
your bitter nothings.
Show me your exit rows,
untie your parachute,
and I promise you –
we will figure out
how to paint us
better tomorrows.
